Where We Began

Owner and Operator (Adam Lacey) is a seasoned plumbing professional with a 

remarkable career spanning over 16 years. 

His journey in the plumbing industry commenced as an apprentice, where he began working on new homes. 

When he became fully qualified, Adam's early experiences employed at Tuck Plumbing included collaborations 

with Government Agencies, facilities within The Department of Education, and Churches.

As well as - High-End Homes, Farming and Agricultural Properties, Shopping Centres,

 Retail Chains and Aged Care Facilities. 

A significant turning point in Adam's career came when working for a 

large scale plumbing contracting company, which led him to tackle larger challenges. 

From quarries to chemical plants, and from food manufacturing and storage facilities

 to real estate agencies, he navigated complex plumbing requirements with skill. 

Despite the diversity of his experiences, Adam's attachment remained tethered to the hills and outer east

 that he calls home; and in 2014 Academy Plumbing Services was launched by Adam and his wife Elise.

Today, Academy Plumbing Services is a family owned and operated business

 that proudly employs local staff, nestled in The Basin at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges.

Focusing, but not limiting our work to - Custom Built Homes, Maintaining Domestic Properties, 

Farming and Agricultural Properties, Commercial Factories, Government Assets, Businesses and Schools.

Adding to the cohesion and quality of life in the hills and outer east. 

As we move forward, our aim remains the same: to continue to provide plumbing excellence 

while supporting a connection to the communities and spaces that define our work.
